C-Brats on the Golden Pond

Hey I noticed that website has a personals want add section...

Male seeking Female
Female seeking Male

Heck a quality outfit like us ought to have some sort of entertainment section...... at least it would help to rid us of politics discussions.

(No offense, Dusty!)

I think Dusty is still wanting to be out on the Blue Pond, isn't he?

I think that's one of them moronic oxens there. Wouldn't having the entertainment section attract the Governor of NY?

I notice a lot of the postings in that piece are relating to sailboats. :crook

Always figured those things were too much work to operate.. :smilep

As for age...I may get older, but I'll never grow up. :wink

that was a good read , of course most seniors are probably spending more time on the water than most, cause they are retired , or semi retired & have the time to enjoy hobbies ( as well they should ). except for the lucky few born eith silver spoons in thier mouth, but that i wouldn"t know think i was born with a rusty shovel in mine  ................... john

Jack, that's 'cause the post is on SAILNET.COM.

And no they're not harder to operate, just different. They're quiet, relaxing and fun.

And slooooooow. That's why we've got both!

Sorry Charlie,

I played "Winch Ape" on a friends boat....It was work! Granted it was quiet and it was slooow...Not my piece of cake. If I want quiet and slow, I put the throttles at 1800.... :wink

that's a lot of information!
i liked the story about the sail boat flying at a blistering 8 knots.
holly s#%*, it's guys like them, way out of control, that give the rest of us boaters a bad name.
great stories, now that i'm bearing down on 59, i can relax and know there are 87 year old captains still going off shore.
somehow life just keeps getting better!
