C-Dory Naknek ... a new home?

Sandy and I have bought a home in a “retirement community” in Florida. This major change in our Life will bring several changes over the coming months (years?), among them selling our Arizona home and downsizing our inventory of toys. In the coming months I will be selling my two old BMW motorcycles, the truck and camper, and several large woodworking tools. Uppermost in my mind, and the most difficult to put on the market is Naknek our beloved CD22.

If you are in the market, look for Naknek in the C-Brat ads. She’s a fine cruising vessel, and you’d have to look far and wide to find a better equipped C-Dory.

I wish the best to you on your new adventure...you can sell the boat, but you'll still own many fine memories....do pop back in and gives some up dates

That's like putting a box of chocolates on display for Joel (SEA3PO)

Good luck with your new home, you've shared your Alaska memories with all of us, we are truly grateful!

Here you are getting out of the truck camper boat thing just as we are really seriously able to get into it. Looks like the relaxed life isn't for you.

Owe you allot Casey. My favorite forum on this site is the "Grand Adventures" and it was started primarily due to you and Rooster on the Catch-22. I know those two stories about cruising on the Inland Passage is what gave me the incentive to share our travels with others too. Discussing future trips there at the Lake Powell Gathering was one of the highlights of that gathering for me. You have my highest admiration and respect and wish you nothing but the best. Am extremely disappointed in your decision to sell the Naknek was hoping to cross wakes with you on the Inland Passage water in the future. Who knows maybe there will be a Naknek 11 someday.
