C-Dory news

Now why didn't I think of that? Of course my local com. college would have a copy. It's probably a required reading for hydraulics class. Thanks for the offer.

Nah, I haven't been doing any fishing. Been getting my new shop/home for Helen O' squared away. I have it wired now, and my workbench installed. Moved the boat down there a few days ago. As soon as the weather breaks I'm going to make a run up to Puget Sound and see if I can catch a blackmouth with Lyle. That's IF the weather breaks.

Do we (or are we going to) have a documents page? I have a little Lake Washington Guide I scanned to PDF that I would like to put up...

If nobody beats me to it, I'll scan and post the article when my copy arrives.

Thanks, Bill - wasn't too bad a download even here in Birch Bay where I only have dial-up...just minimized the download window and kept on reading the forum!

BTW, your link points to www.c-brat.net/docs - but unless I am missing something, there is no way to navigate directly to that page from the rest of the site, and no way for us mere users to upload to it...am I missing something?

{A subsequent Edit!} OK, I followed that link and see that it is a bare directory, not a page...so I am not missing anything. An HTML coded Documents Page that we could upload/download to/from is still on my Wish List...I know you are only one guy, and I AM grateful, but I can still have a Wish List, can't I? :)

Got the article scanned - here's a link to it in PDF format. The newsprint Nor'westing uses is pretty tough to get a good image of, but if you zoom in, it's readable.

Dial-up users - it's pretty big, could take a few minutes to download.

Hey Pat,

For now, nobody can put documents in that directory. I'm working on something that will allow folks to upload files to the forums - should have it done within a few days.

OK, that would be great. As I say, I have a little Lake Washington Guide that I scanned to PDF, if I can upload it before we head out next Saturday, cool, if not, that is fine too...Thanks!

I resurrected this thread from the "search engine" to share information about the latest article found in the Nor'westing Magazine.

While Roger (Sensei) and I were at the C-Dory factory yesterday, we picked up the latest (11/23/05 - 1/11/06) Norwesting Magazine. On page 52 of the mag is an article entitled "A Clever Cat". It is about the new TC 255.

For those of you in the NW, free copies of this magazine are usually available at your friendly West Marine store.

For those of you elsewhere.....perhaps someone more "nerdy" :disgust than I, can obtain the article and post it on the site.

Or even go buy and get one and drop it in the mail to us right side folks who would love to see it....

PM for home address if there are any takers on this request please...
