Courtesy of Jeff at C-Dory, we've now got PDF's of all current C-Dory owner's manuals.

Per Jeff, the 25 Cruiser and 255 Tomcat manuals are still being worked on. Once available, I'll add them here as well.

Thanks, Jeff!

Update: C-Dory 25 Manual provided by Art (Sea Angel). Per Sea Sport, this CD25 manual is not the "official" version.

I've got a 1984 22' Original Classic C-Dory and no owner's manual. It seems that the C-Brats Web site would be the perfect place to post manuals for vintage vessels.

Does anyone have an owner's manual for a boat like mine? If so, I'd like to find a way to obtain a copy. If I do get a copy, I'll scan it and make it available to this forum, that is, if the copyright owner and the management allows.

ccflyer, downloads fine with IE 6.0.29 Been done 174 times, try it again. I'll attach a copy of what I downloaded.

On edit by Da Nag - duplicate attachment deleted.

Anybody in possession of an older circa 1994 C-Dory 22' Cruiser owner's manual. Would gladly pay expenses for photocopying/mailing a copy to me. Just bought the boat and an owner's manual would be nice.

Hey Bill, congrats on the "new" boat. I've got a '94 as well and find that the manual here on the site is as good as you're going to get. Boats like ours are likely to be modified over the years so the original manual won't do you much good. In addition, many systems were installed by the dealer then, more so than now even and that wouldn't be covered anyway.

Good Luck!

I have a 1990 22' Cruiser I bought new. Never had an owners manual and not sure they supplied them back then. There's good info in this current manual and wish I had a manual for my vintage C-Dory.

Fred - the link in your post seems to be a bad link. Click on the Download link for the 22 manual then open it. If it opens properly (all 27 pages) you should be able to print it. Trying to print across the internet can cause unexpected results. It is always better to print locally than across the internet.

Dave,

BINGO. I did what you said, copied file to computer, and then printed it. Lots of great stuff. Is there any Owners Manual for the pre 1986 22' Anglers. Also. does anybody have a copy of the line drawing of the pre1986 22' Anglers? My "yacht" is a 1983 22' C-Dory Angler, though it doesn't look like one now.

Thought there was one of these on the site somewhere but couldn't find it. Now there is! I take it back, there isn't because it's too big (5MB) and the max upload is 3MB. If anyone (besides Localboymark to whom I already sent it by e-mail) wants one, just e-mail me and I'll shoot it to you.

Is there someone out there with the capability to resize the file? Maybe you could send it to them, and then they could send it back and it could be put into the documents file.

How did you manage to change the file extension from a .pdf to a .pfd?

Hmmm

The reason the link didn't work was the extension was mysteriously changed.

Either that or C-Dory was deviously stuffing the manuals in Personal Flotation Devices! In which case, it might float but not display!

Norm, looks like a typo to me. Download it save it and change the name manually to .pdf and it will probably work.

Note: the 16 Manual incorrectly states the length of the steering cable - its copied directly from the 22 manual. It states that you should use a 19' cable - I dont remember exactly what the correct length is - but I replaced the cable on my 16 and ended up taking the old one in to make sure I got the correct one the second time around.

Cheers,
Tom

Yeah, and don't try to use an owners manual as a life jacket.... Probably won't work! At least not for very long!

Well Darn. I got the first two parts and now have reached my "maximum Upload Quota Limit of 5 MB" according to the system. If it will let me tomorrow, not sure how long the quota limit lasts, I'll put part 3 in there.

Charlie,
Thanks for the help. :cigar :beer

I have also attacked this by placing a pix of the cover sheet in my album
and noting I will e-mail [ka1rx@verizon.net] anyone my copy of the
manual if they can't get it here.

I also sent a copy to our C-Nerd, Bill. I hope the 3.96MB file is not too
big for the pipes, etc..

You did good to get as much in as you did. I hope you are successful
tomorrow.

I just now saw the attachment window below this pane. :disgust

Well, I better not complicate this by trying to send the doc now.

My excuse is this is the first time working in area, and I'm sticking to it;
I declare ol' age brain burp syndrome.
