WOW....and I do not know how many years I asked them to build me one....until I just gave up, or more acurately....was told to forget it...it will not happen.... and I moved on. But, the grass is greener on this side of the fence for my 25' boat.

Pat – when I first saw the picture of your boat above here, I thought it was a photo of the 26 foot C-Dory Pro Angler in the water.

I talked to Ben Toland a couple of days ago and he said the Snow Goose was a 26 footer. They made very few and tsturm is right, it had a 12 degree dead rise at the transom and it continued most of the way to the bow before the V angle increased. Ben thinks C-Dory still has the mold for this boat.

Great to see you back-been awhile.
 
There is a picture of the Snow Goose in my album as well as another 26' with a full standard cabin with the same hull.
I chased a Pro Angler around several years ago at 3 Rivers Marine in Fla. but I missed it and it has been sold. It was exactly like the Snow Goose but brand new.

C-Dory is missing the "boat' (not a pun) in not considering this boat again. It is an excellent sport fishing boat and C-Dory does not have a good one in their line up now.
Please Mr. C-Dory take a look at it again.

There were a bunch of C-Dorys like the one you scanned that were used as charter boats in Gustavus, Alaska.
There were several for sale recently but they were pretty well used up but with new engines as an enticer. I passed.
 
Saw one at Guenters a few years back - had a flying bridge on top, that was reportedly removed prior to sale.

Snapped up a bunch of photos - just tracked them down, and added them to this album.

I'm with you on this Jack. I really like the looks and lines of the C-Dory 26 Pro-Angler. Now that is one boat I would consider moving up to from the CD22. It looks like a great fishing machine.

The 26 pilothouse just turns my crank every time I see it. I love the forward sloping windshield (very West Coast ). I saw one a couple of months ago for sale in Alaska for around 32,000 and it was gone in like 3 days.
 
I remember that boat Bill. I really like the "Walk Around" cabin. Without the flying bridge I think C-Dory could sell a lot of those boats here in the PNW. When it was for sale I was looking to buy a boat. But it was priced way out of my budget so I had to pass.

Thank you Ken.

I have too many irons in the fire and have to decide which ones I want to continue to pursue . One thing I decided is, I am going to continue my participation on this site, but probably at a slightly lesser extent for awhile. I will be heading to The Dalles Mountain Farmearly Thursday morning, for my annual disking and seeding of the fields.

Back to the topic of this thread - anybody that likes the 26 foot C-Dory will find the Rosborough is an excellent option. It is handled by Les (E Q Marine) in the NW and Pat (Byrdman)in Tennessee. Both are long time members of this group and deserve our support and consideration when we want a boat that C-Dory does not make.

That's a boat I'd be chasing!! A trailerable walk around, sweet!! But fishing comes ahead of cruising. The price seems reasonable, but I'd probably rip out the sink/stove for better seating, the flybridge would be a plus. Ahhhh, someday.

But a 22 Angler may be way more cost effective. :love
