Our new launch docks are in!! Properly positioned now for launch and retrieval. Rest of the slips are due to go in in October or Novenber. On Monday, they will be welding a new cable attachment to the cradle, for improved effectiveness of the hoist. I believe this will give an additional 2-3 feet of vertical lift.

These docks are in a temporary position until the remainder of the docks arrive and ready to be installed in a few months. I like the extra space provided by moving the gangway NW about 5 feet. 
Reviewing the plans, I like the new layout that will give us a better prep area. We are ready when we hit the water, but need a space the lower antennas and fishing rods prior to retrieval by the hoist.
I talked with Bob concerning some of the slackers that like to tie up the launch area while loading their boats. Last week some idiot parked his truck at the hoist while loading his gear on someone elses boat. Mike had to tell him to get out of the way so he could launch a boat. Since it wasn't Fishtales that was waiting to be launched, I bit my tongue- dang that hurt :lol:
