Tug, the link worked fine for me 3X. Try typing it into your browser. I think you found it anyway. Sailrite has all kinds of products, you may have to replace the track too. Poke around on the site.

I checked the scraps that I have, and the rope does measure 5/16".
The track is 3/8'', and the fit is loose, but it works fine.
The keder track says it's for 1/4" rope. Go figure.

On second thought, you could sew a 5/16 nylon rope into a sunbrella sleeve, like you would do for piping, and get a 3/8" bolt-rope for a tighter fit.

On edit-- the nylon rope idea probably isn't good one. It's too soft to prevent pullout. I would probably use some 5/16 vinyl or rubber tubing.

I thought about putting the vinyl awning rope in a sunbrella sleeve for added strenght........as it is now the vinyl awning rope is tearing along the stitch line....the stitch line is cutting into the vinyl rope and weakening it..i will call Sailrite and see what they recommend. Thanks Tug

I talked to Sailrite and ordered some Keder Awning rope....they say that the 5/16 th works good with the 3/8 th aluminum awning rail. Thanks Tug
