Hello C brats,

We posted a few pics of mods to our 2000 CD22 commuter a few weeks ago. I have finally gotten around to taking more photos of some of the interior mods which add some detail to the port and starboard beds which allow us to sleep up to 4 inside the cabin / v berth. This CD comes with two forward seats and two long bench seats over 40 inch long storage boxes. It seats 6 in this configuration.

We wanted to retain the extended seating and add a galley, water, wallas heater and a space efficient table. I am still making a few more mods (photos to follow eventually) to add drop down foot rests for the table when we are stuck inside on very cold days.

Here is a link: http://www.c-brats.com/modules.php?set_ ... _album.php

More interior mods will follow soon.

Richard,

Beautiful job on your interior modifications. We sure have some talented craftsman on this site.

Thanks for the good words. I am really enjoying making tweaks to this already great little pocket cruiser. I am no longer deluding myself that I am nearly done with mods.

The best part is that my bride loves cruising on the C Eagle as much as I do. We had grandkids over the Christmas holidays and took a 40 mile cruise with 8 aboard, including the two parental units which I relegated to the cockpit. Great fun..........

Best Regards,
Richard

You may be interested to compare what we have done! See our Dinette to Sofa Conversion subalbum.

Wayne,

You made a real sofa; looks very comfortable. I thought that your bunk beds were a very interesting way to sleep the grandkids inside the cabin. Have they tried them out yet?

I use the word 'sofa' loosely as my bride often places a bolster behind her in a lounge position to read as we travel. The copilot seat is still available for her sit forward.

Thanks for sharing your mods.

Hi Richard,
All looks good, I would like to look at it closer at the Cumberland River Cruse but time was short. I hate we did not see yall when you left to get back. We enjoyed talking and eating dinner with yall. We hope we can get together again some time.

Richard: No, I have not yet had opportunity to try out the bunk beds with my grandchildren. Unfortunately, they all live 500+ miles away! Wayne

Jim and Sandy,

We hope to see you guys on the next gathering which I hope will be on the Tennessee River in the fall.

Richard
