cored hull issues

Greetings. This month's BoatUS magazine has a good article on fiberglass hull repair/assessment ("Sounding out a good fixer-upper"). While not at all specific to C-Dory, it has a very good section on cored hull concerns and preventative care. Mostly it confirms what Dr. Bob has shared on this subject in previous posts re: flexing, moisture intrusion and delamination. Mike.

I have to confess, I don't currently belong to Boat US (and I should for a number of reasons, including advocacy, the local fuel dock gives a discount, and so do some marinas).

Is there an on line source for this article? I don't expect anyone to copy it (which would probably be a violation of their copyright)--and this is a good reminder to rejoin!
