My fuel starvation problem solved now I find that the Aluminum housing that holds the grommet is over 1/2 GONE! Very pricey repair $300 for parts alone.
Its still hanging on so I'm going to try to reinforce it somehow..metal epoxy ect.
The strange thing is the other engines Grommet & house are FINE!
See how thin the fuel line is where it was going thru the grommet? It was almost flat.

Well, I'm impressed. Having that much corrosion in a couple of years isn't the best in the world. Is it a problem with having the motors down on a bracket and thus subject to more spray? How's the other engine? Do any other TomKat owners have the same problem?

I do know that aluminum in contact with stainless will rapidly corrode. When you repair that seal, you sure as heck better make sure that the aluminum isn't touching stainless. Or you might make a new spacer out of plastic to insure that it doesn't corrode again. Replacing that every couple of years is a pain.
