We'll be with you in spirit anyway! Possibly we will be going out for the weekend Saturday a.m., just I suppose as you are heading in...

Hey Fred!

I(me) can come out to play Wed and spend Wed night somewhere and back to Guemes on Thurs afternoon. And I even have Kates blesings. Kate and I are leaving at 0-Dark-Thirty on Fri for a visit with the middle daughter in Spokane.

Giive me an email and I will give you my cell number.

Cool. Actually it will be VERY COOL. Supposed to snow around here on Thurs.

Luna C will be in the Islands, but not untill Saturday afternoon. If there is a gray C-Dory on the NW end of Center Island, that is us!

Chris

Fred,

You're a braver man than I am. Like Dave said, it's supposed to start snowing. Should make for some neat pictures of winter cruising and even better conversation at the SBS BS session. We'll all welcome the report. I'd think about the trip but I'm still not done with the guest house bath/shower remodel and besides, i haven't got the headliner installed in the main cabin which means it would be real cold.

One other thing, does Robin have the time off and plan on going?

Have fun it should be a blast.

Tim

Robbin is on her way to Vegas for buisness Wednesday, she's no fool. Snows OK with me is long as the wind doesn't kick up to much. Sure was a nice day today.

Fred

Well, Fred (Anita Marie) and David (Anna Leigh) are at Fossil Bay, Sucia Island right now. There are no other boats there. They were walking back from a hike to the point and Fred said "Hey, why don't you call Pat," so David did. Damn, I haven't been able to build up enough comp time in two days working to take the rest of the week off and join them!

I have been the Snoqualmie City Attorney for 22 years on a contract basis - pretty much full time for the last 15, what with growth and development in Snoqualmie. The joke around here is "After 22 years, Pat finally has a real job!"

Yes, I am looking forward not only to vacation but also the accrual of comp time. Guaran-damn-teed.

Pat,

Welcome to municipal mayhem and monotony. Damn but that comp time is nice though once you get it built up.

Tim

Fred and David, we're thinking of you and wishing we were there! Sucia and the San Juans on a clear, calm, winter day. I'd take that any ol' day.
:hot

Fred and I looking from Sucia Is. east to Mt. Baker, with Matia Is. in the foreground. Another crummy day in the Pacific NW. (The next day it was snowing with 2-3 ft chop on our return.)

OK Dave,

Rub it in but I'll bet those aren't todays scene cause in our part of the world the sun hasn't set yet. Not sure we'll know when it does anyway since it will be behind all the rain clouds. Does look like you two enjoyed one really great day yesterday though. Must be why we're all just a bit jealous.

Tim

What a great day to cruise and hang out at Sucia, sun, mirror water and an empty dock. Had dinner and a movie on Davids boat, pretty nice of him, huh.
Today was a little different. Late last night the wind picked up out of the SE and when we left it was blowing 20+. Lumpy to real lumpy all the way back. Still to have a day like yesterday in January was a gift I will not soon be forgeting.
I was going to stay for a couple more days but 20 to 30 knot winds in the forecast with snow and rain has made me turn tail. I know, call me a wimp.

Fred

Fred,

More like a smart wimp in my book. Yesterday was gorgeous here too and today is definetly a different story. To luck into such a great day is always special. Glad you both could enjoy it and thanks to Dave for sharing the wonderful photos.
