Nope...wasn't us. PWS is wayyyy too far away for us! We did make a trip to the range, though. Maybe you heard the .500 Nitro all the way from Kodiak!

I confess. A little target practice in Surprise Cove in preparation for deer hunting next week. No one else was in the cove so after lunch we decided to bust a few caps. Surprised you heard it since we were probably about 3 to 4 miles from you and the wind was blowing from you to me. I think we fired six rounds or so.

Never made it to Surprise Cove last weekend. We were fishing in front of Entry Cove & saw C-Worthy drop the hook & go ashore, so we assumed it was him shooting. RedFox is right about the parking, the lot was deserted on Saturday & no crowd at the launch.
