Nicw fish. ok give up the details. where when and with what?? I will be out at double bluf this weekend or eastern bank.

Oh MY! Practice for the derby, eh????

Great fish, both.

Dusty

I am in awe! Nice going you two.

Thanks everyone. No prize for us Mike, just warming up for the derby like Dusty thought. The 103lb. fish was 62 inches long and the 42lb'er was 50 inches long. Big boy broke my new fish box when I tossed him in.
There's more pics in the C-Lou album if anyone's interested.

Two butts and four cheeks( :moon :moon ) = 99 lbs. of fillets.

I've heard people talk about shallow water halibut but that is rediculous. Scooping them up with a tractor??? Is that legal?

Highs you guys, as in high fives.

Those are nice looking fishes. I won't tell what my first thoughts and words were but my second thought has something to do with a C-Dory Halibut Festival next year sometime. I'll bet I could talk at least one of my fellow dock walkers into going for a truck ride and drag up a boat to haul back some farm harvest. Just a small seed I'm trying to plant.

No "Farm Harvest", or bought off the dock fishes here. Jon & I got these 2 ourselves - a good fight was had by all! :smile

For once he out-fished me! On a good day, mine would have been a huge fish, it just looks like a dwarf next to the big lunker! These definately would have brought in some $$$ in a derby...

It took me over 3 hrs just to vacuum pack the whole mess of fillets for the freezer. What a daunting task... :crook

Ask us no secrets - We'll tell you no lies... :love Cynthia

Whew! Those are some fish!
