HI All,
Well we made it from NC pulling the boat down to Florida's St.John's river.We stayed our first night in Astor. My sister lives in Silver Springs. They came over Sunday for a nice boat tour and half day ride . We had a nice meal at the Black Water Inn . Then back to the boat dock and say goodbye for a few days to my sister. Monday we took off for Hontoon Island and Sanford. We'er thinking of staying at Hontoon Island or Astor tomorrow night on our way to Palaka and Welaka. Hope the gathering over on the "other side" was a good one ! Take care all ! Tracy "Dragonfly"
 
Pics????...I for one would enjoy seeing some! Glad you guys are having a good trip! Jo and I are counting the days down to our first trip!
 
Hi All,
We saw Sanford and Astor Florida. Sanford was so nice ! The river walk is a total Gem ! We loved it there. We spent two days. Last night we were back at Astor and today we motored up to Palatka. It's nice here but we haven't seem much yet. Now it looks like rain is coming to spoil our fun ! We did spy a C-Dory just over from Palataka . It's blue and white. No name and there was a sail boat at the same dock. Well better go. We are using the "boater lounge" here at the Quality Inn/Marina. Take care all, Tracy ...No wifi in Astor.. lol
 
Hi Yall,
Sounds like you are having a good time we would love to go down the River with 2 or more boats for a week sometime. From what I have read it is a lot to see & a lot of places to stay.

Glad you are enjoying yourself and hope the weather is good to you. Just for a point of information there's a C-Dory dealer in east Palatka called "Big Boys Play Toys."
 
Hi Larry & Tracy,
Are you all still in Fl. on the River, we have not seen any Post in a few days. Some times it is hard to fine Internet Service in Low Profile places. We would like to find out about the end of yalls trip, or you might be still down there on the river?
