FYI, a while ago I was searching for an electronic barometer for the MOOSE and stumbled upon one at www.starpath.com, a navigation school in Seattle of all places. The unit is made by Weems and Plath and normally retails for $135. Starpath is selling them at a special discount for $85, which seems like an especially good deal. We plan on using it for general weather systems monitoring and for fishing. I thought there might be others of you who would have an interest in purchasing one.

That's the electronic barometer i use, it's a very nice unit :D
I think this is one of the best units you can get... :thup
It is one of the most accurate for sure.... :shock:

Not sure about other brands. But the Garmin handheld GPSMAP 76CS has the barometer. When you bring up the "pressure plot" you can see on a graph the rise and fall of barometric pressure over time. A handy handheld, for sure.
