Event Signups

OK - the long-awaited signup sheets are here.

On the main menu at the top of all pages, you'll now see an "Event Signups" link. Click on this, and you'll see a drop-down box listing all events for which we've created a signup sheet. Select the event you are interested in, then click the "View Information" button. On the resulting screen, you'll see a a list of everyone who has already signed up, along with a "Join Group" button if you have not yet committed to the gathering. Just click it, and you're signed up!

Once you've signed up, if you change your mind, just go through the process above, but select the "Unsubscribe" button. You'll be removed from the signup sheet.

Mike and I will attempt to stay on top of things, creating signup sheets for everything that has been placed on the calendar. If we miss something, drop one of us a note.

You'll notice each signup sheet has a "Moderator" - this is the poor soul who has either chosen, or been appointed to be the event leader.
 
Bill, it may be just me but whenever I go to send an E-mail from the profile list (an e-mail, not a PM) to another member, the text

"The flotilla will be meeting at Katherins Landing. Looks to be several signed on to attend. Expecting to have a great time on another southwestern meeting of C-Dorys. Hope to see ya'll there."

automatically pops up and I have to delete it to send an E-mail to that member. Am I doing something wrong?

C-Brats,

I see that almost every month has some activity. How about July? Will there be another Blakely gathering? Or any other Northwest activities in July, August, or September?
 
Is there any way to e-mail or PM everyone signed up for an event? Like creating a distribution list in one of the e-mail programs. It would be convenient to get the word out to everyone signed up or send itineraries as attachments or phone lists, etc.
