For some reason I can't logon using my newly installed Firefox 3. Never had that problem with FF2, Irider or (yuck ptui) MSIE.

Any suggestions? Most everything is setup default but it just won't accept username/password. Just reloads the logon screen.

Did you just install FF3? Clean out the cache and reboot. I cant explain it. I upgraded on D1 and had no problems but installed add-ons over several days.
BTW I was surprised when I upgraded iTunes that Safari was installed.
 
Nope Brent, been there, did that, no joy. Did have to update Roboform to work with FF3 and so far all the other sites I've tried have accepted my username/password both manually and roboformly. (g) I tried Safari and it's not quite ready for PC prime time AFAIC. FF3 is way faster too.

I think Mike has finally discovered a way to get back at me. :wink
 
Forgot to mention: Vista Home Premium. Just installed on the XP laptop and it works perfectly.

Problem solved. Why it just affected the C-Brat site is beyond my wee brain capacity. It's still wired for the IBM 360-30 I guess.

Had to restore to 8/1/08, uninstall Firefox, upgrade Roboform to the latest (FF3 compatible) version, then finally install FF3 again.

Now very happy with the mucho faster loading and far better features of FF3 compared to FF2.
