First trip out with new to me 22 Cruiser. Three nites out on the Colorado River and Lake Havasu. Loving the boat and many mods to come in preparation for the loop in 2026.
Im 6 ft, 190 pounds, and find the front berth with more than enough room. Just crawl in there and snooze away!Nice pix, looks like a great trip! Would love to hear any tips you can share about sleeping aboard in such a small space.
Over the last 23 years, we have several times spent three months in a row on board & 1311 nights aboard total with all, other than a few rough water windy nights at anchor & some extended weeks with an injured knee comfortable & enjoyable. Making it even more so, we added 1.5 inches of foam over the standard pads & made the whole berth a bed by adding a support board & cushion at the entrance to the berth. It can be a pain at times getting in & out, but once in, we’ve never found it to be cramped. In fact just the opposite with snug & cozy, the better description, especially when anchored with a cold wet rain heavily patterning on the roof in a remote anchorage.Nice pix, looks like a great trip! Would love to hear any tips you can share about sleeping aboard in such a small space.
