Fourth of July Weekend - Princess Louisa

Joyce, I and perhaps Brad and his son are planning to launch at Bellingham on Fri. July 1 for a cruise up to Princess Louisa inlet with a return on July 4. Any tips from others? Anyone else going to be in the area then?

Not sure where I heard or read this but seems as there was a reason to give the mouth of the Fraiser River a wide birth. I belive it had to do with high flow rates and considerable sediment in the river run off water causing abnormal engine overheating. I do remember going buy there on a ferry one time and noticing the obvious difference in water colors.
