so im going with two saddle tanks for my boat, its a 1981 22 classic/angler, and im wondering if anyone knows off hand of any particular tanks that fit well, under the the gunwales, or should i make my own, if anyone has had them custom made, how tall and wide are they, to hold around 20 gallons (on each side), also do they feed equally to the motor, or will i need a valve...any input would be great, thanks...
 
i am probably going to be building my own fuel tanks, which means aluminum tanks for me, but that means relying on a fuel gauge (that could fail), i love the idea of being able to see through plastic tanks, i was wondering if anyone has had, or knows of anyone who could make custom plastic tanks, what is your preference, pro's and con's of each...
 
I have a couple of tank float gage sending units around here somewhere if you want them. no charge they are collecting dust.
