Fellow Brats,
Fugawi recently upgraded their software to make it Windows Vista compatible along with some other enhancements. Unfortunately, there is a glitch that does not allow for the removal of the Navionics card while maintaining the map file in memory. This is important if you want to use your computer as a back-up system and share the Navionics card with your on board electronics as I do. I had just upgraded my new tablet PC that runs Windows Vista and my desktop with Windows XP Professional and now neither will allow for the removal of the card. I called Fugawi, they are aware of the problem, and are trying to resolve it. My recommendation is that if you don't need to upgrade to Ver. 4.5, don't until the glitch is fixed and a new version upgrade is available.
