Can somebody give me a link to a SIMPLE tutorial that explains how to make a photo collage in Photoshop Elements? Everything in the book or online help is about stuff that I don't see how it gets me to where I want to go. I just want to slap a bunch of existing photos onto a canvas and add some text, the Photoshop non-help doesn't even include the word "collage." Can you feel the frustration?

I sure can. I'm gettin' outta here.

I paid about $20 for my "MGI Photo Suite IV" software. If you can't find the collage section in your software, it might not be there. I'm sure Office Depot or likeness would have some cheap collage software.

Pat,

Photoshop Elements will do the trick fine. They call it Compositing Images and there is a good run down in Photoshop Elements for Windows & Macintosh, Craig Hoeschen and Christopher Dahl. Peachpit Press, ISBN 0-201-79974-X. I bought my copy at Costco.

Pat,

Well, that's what the book sez. I ain't tried it and don't intend to practice. Probably couldn't do it anyway! With your nerd knowledge it's not a problem!!

OK, I am just too stupid to use Photoshop Elements. Here is what I cooked up in Freehand. I think the idea is not just the boats, but people having fun...

100% agree. People. That is our specialty, after all. Maybe the mug shots interspersed with the most scenerific of the boating shots. Beautimus! I hope there are no Blakely Island cops at the BS!
