Just uploaded a letter in PDF format regarding a recall of Honda BF8A 8HP kickers, commonly known as the Classic 8 kicker.
Evidently, some slipped through with a hairline crack in the flywheel, which could cause some nasty problems. Per the letter I received, Honda is advising affected folks to cease using these kickers, and have an authorized Honda dealer deal with the problem.
I don't know how many of the BF8A's this affects, but there's a number in the letter you can call for more info. Presumably, armed with your serial number they could tell you.
