how to attach pictures

not sure how to attach photo's to post. i'm sure it's not that difficult but have not been able to figure it out. must be having a senior moment.

Try this
Right click on the picture to copy
Left click on 'properties'
Left click and highlight the Address
Right click on the highlighted address
Left click on 'copy'
Go to the message where you want to insert picture
Left click where you want pic to go
left click on the message header box containing 'Img'
Left click on 'edit' in tool bar
Left click on 'paste'
Left click on message header box containing 'Img'
click on 'preview' to see if it worked

I think the picture has to be on the www somewhere first. I don't think you can copy and paste a picture which is only on your computer. Have Bill create an album for you and then you can upload pics to the album and from that you can take pictures to use with a post.

No need to know left, right, port, starboard or any of that stuff. :wink

Jim - Marty was just being a little more thorough with his instructions than you.

Ctrl Click = two functions. Press the Ctrl Key and Click the mouse button.
Right Click = one function.

Copy image address! Is that a telepathic function? Or do you do something with the keyboard or mouse?

Marty just described the processes you left out with your instructions.

I know I have opened up the potential of this thread (Windows verses Apple) becoming as controversial as global warming, politics, CC verses C-Dory or one of the other threads that Bill had to zap.

I just couldn’t help my-self. :disgust

Can you imagine, Marty and me being on the same side in such a controversial issue. :wink

Pat, there are lots of image hosting sites on the 'net that are free. You could put them in your photo album on this site or there if you don't want them cluttering up your album.
