I was running a thread a while back discussing adding some hull runners to a C-Dory 18. We had assembled the boat from a bare hull, separate cabin and deck. I was having control problems as the bottom was perfectly flat. I added 3 runners about 1 inch by 1 inch by 6 feet long. I glued them with epoxy deciding that it was too risky to put screws into the hull. I launched her tonight and am glad to report that there is a night and day difference in the way she handles. The runners make an incredible difference. I want to thank all those who contributed to the thread.
