Ideas for under galley cabinet for the TC?

We're looking for ideas on how best to set-up/organize the cabinet under the galley on our TC. We've seen several good ideas (in the photo albums) for the C-25 and C-22, but even though the cabinet appears to be larger in the TC - they don't seem to work because of the center post (coupled with the sink drain and Wallas fuel/shelve). Has any one considered removing the center post? Any other ideas? Hate to not maximize this important space.

Thanks!

Hi Mark & Diana,
We too have the center post in our 06 cd25. I don't think I would remove it. It looks to provide support. We just store items in different size plastic tubs and grab the one we want. You sometimes have to remove one to get to the other but its efficient, the tubs are not too heavy and everything inside stays clean and dry. The coffee maker has a home on the shelf next to the head so hoses for the shower don't get tangled or end up with something setting on them. Directly under the sink on the shelf is where we keep the satellite TV stuff and mounted on the cabinet wall behind the seat we have the c-talk for the Ray Marine equipment mounted. We do keep some cans of soup loose in this area. I don't have any pictures to show but we found 2 longer tubs that fit on the bottom, 2 smaller tubs to fit on top of them and 2 smaller tubs about the size of a loaf of bread that fit on top. A total of six tubs purchased at Linens-n-things. The tubs are about 8" in height. We kind of like this organization method, it keeps things separate and like I said clean and dry.

I would agree about not removing the center post. We currently use the plastic tubs. Marie wants me to put in a shelf about 12" out form the hull, and about half way up. I probably will do that this summer. This will be -cordinated with plastic tubs which will still hold what we use. We used plastic tubs on all of our cruising boats for storage, even the 62 footer.
