I have to put in a word to the Kitsap County residents. There is a fellow boater that is running for State Representative. His name is Pete DeBoer. He is a member of the Kingston Cove Y.C., and like a lot of us in Washington would like to see some representation of boaters in Olympia. The Legislature has been systematically eroding boating and recreation funds and don't seem to care for the recreational boaters. I think Pete would be a great spokesman and teach those folks the difference beteen the bow and the stern. All of us boaters could use advocates.
