"Invalid Image" Error????

OK, took a picture with same old camera, Konica Minolta DiMage Z6, downloaded it to desktop of MacBook same old way, cropped it in Seashore like I always do...tried to upload, and am repeatedly getting "Invalid image" error. Any ideas what this is about? As far as I know, I did nothing differently from the other 6,000 pictures I have upload (well, exaggeration, but a lot). It was a nice shot off my back deck of fall colors on a crisp Northwest day, something to compete with the dolphins a little, since I am pretty sure there are no fall colors in the Tropical Tip of Texas!

Pat - email me the image you are trying to upload, and I'll look into it.

I've seen this error many times, but only when relying on the server to resize instead of doing it ahead of time.

Aha, thanks Bill - image size! I have my camera set to high res, so resized 'er and all is well. It displays as less dramatic than it appeared to my eyes this morning, but here she is anyway - the view off our back deck. All that is missing are the five or six deer seen many days or the bear seen occasionally down near the bottom of the yard! This day is a diamond, a crisp, sunny fall day in the Great Northwest!

Fall colors? Yeah, we've seen those... up north. Here, we have no fall, so no fall colors... green year 'round. 8)

Regarding the "invalid image" - do not post that one you showed me that you photoshopped to show you with Paris Hilton. :wink:

I don't think it's a "Mac thing" - photos are uploading fine here. Hope you get it figured out - I'd enjoy seeing some fall colors (though, we did see some in the NW before we left there).
