Today we decided to finally make the move. I guess the big question, what's going to be the name? :smile I'll get back to everyone on that later. Should have the new Dory in a few weeks time. Now the fun begins with electronics, vests, after market options, and what not. (It's the what not you have to be careful of.) We're very excited about getting out on the Dory and enjoying the pleasure of everyones company out on the water along with finding out local fishing spot. :smileo

Good for you! I well remember the moment I cut the check for Adeline. It took about 4 1/2 months to construct her so I had plenty of time to dream of voyages and adventures ahead. When I finally picked her up (07/14/'89) it was another three months before I splashed her. I was hypnotically focused on just the right electronics and other details. Congratulations and best of luck! We just took delivery a month ago, and I remember well the excitement of poring over brocheres, surfing this website, wondering about motors and electronics, etc. May the time from now till delivery pass swiftly and may you have a great indian Summer for running your new Dory! Very exciting! The "what not" isn't just something that will get you early on... but it does make it very easy for your family to get you gifts (birthday, Christmas, Father's Day) for the next 10 or 12 years. :wink

We'll look forward to hearing all about your new boat and how you'll use her.
