Anyone ever cruise Lake George? We're getting a little toasty here on the Chesapeake and thinking of heading northerly, and Lake George was suggested as a possibility. Looking for launch ramp ideas, lake restrictions, etc -- reality check from experience beyond the google search. Thanks
 
Nobody knows anything about Lake George?? Well, guess we'll have to check it out.

I don't know enough about it to tell you how to do anything there or where to go, but on our trip from New York to Montreal by ship and the return trip to New York by car two years ago, , it was the most beautiful of all the places we visited, including all the seaports, Lake Champlain, and the Hudson River.
