Congrats! It was a good game. Out here on the left coast we got to watch the game and go to bed early.
 
Good game? Maybe for BoSox fans but I think Cleveland fans would differ with you.
Now the series was great and exciting. Great comeback by Boston.

As a Yankee fan, remembering 2004, I can feel for Cleveland fans.

While not dismissing the final score, I wonder what might have been the outcome had Cleveland's third base coach not held up Lofton with the tieing run?
Have to feel bad for that coach who, in my opinion, has the hardest job in baseball. That said, he blew it.

Now I have to go root for the Rockies.

There were lots of interesting calls and errors in this game by both teams. We hit into something like 5 double plays. Lugo dropped a ball that Manny could have easily caught.

In terms of holding up Lofton, Manny has a wicked arm but who knows if he would have been able to throw him down. It would have been a stretch for sure. The momentum went back and forth for almost the entire game.
 
Don't follow Baseball much, but my three football teams did good yesterday- Seattle, Dallas and Oakland.
Seattle won :thup , Dallas won :thup and Oakland lost :thup :D

Every time that I see any reference to the Dallas Cowboys, I'm reminded of the day I drank beer with Don Meredith in Viet Nam... :beer ...later when Don appeared on the "Lipton Tea" commercials, I would be reminded of that day.

(At the time, I was not a follower of any sports).
 
I too am a Yankees fan.... oh well, Tory is going, going and nearly gone. I was cheering for Cleveland and yes, Lofton was safe at second. He was also held up incorrectly by the 3rd base coach.... a bad night for him due to people outside of his control... All this said, Boston out played Cleveland and deserves to go. No series is made or broken by a mere play or two. So now I can only say.....

GO COLORADO ROCKIES!!!
