Lunch With a C-Brat

What an unexpected surprise Tuesday am :) My cell phone rings while standing in the checkout aisle at Haggen and it's Roger (SENSEI). He and his dad are in Bellingham and would we like to meet for lunch? You bet!! The Olive Garden is the chosen destination.

Roger was the first C-Brat we ever met several years ago at West Marine in Anacortes so it's indeed a pleasure to get to meet his dad, Glenn.

Roger, thanks for the phone call :) We had a most enjoyable visit and a very tasty lunch.

Us, too... well, early supper. We got to meet Dave from Soulmate (R-21) on our way home from moving the Mom-in-law. Outback - no rules, just right; good food and conversation. We just may be getting enough Texas brats (and tug-thugs) for a little get-together this way.

Looking forward to seeing you two in July!

Best wishes,
Jim & Joan

Jim & Joan,

Looking forward to seeing you, too. Joe & I recalled that the Olive Garden is one of your favorite destinations. You know.....July is not that far off and since there's two of us having July birthdays, I think we'll have to make sure we get over to the OG for dinner while you're out here.

Indeed, lunch with a C-Brat is mighty fine (hint, hint, we'll be in Birch Bay again this weekend!).

Well, this sure sounds like a good plan :) Will be in touch to see what your schedule looks like this weekend.
