Just bought my first D-Dory. Am new to boating. Looking for good websites to order marine and fishing supplies. Any good tips?

Check out www.fisheriessupply.com They have a huge book with
every part known to a boater. They are located in Seattle Wa.

Allan,

If you take your sales receipt for your boat with you and visit Fisheries Supply in Seattle, you can get substantial discounts on equipment for, I think, 90 days. Unlike West Marine, you get wholesale prices rather than a price adjustment down to actual retail!

Once you are in the New Boat Owners program, you can order online, by phone, fax, etc.

I've bought a few items from BOE Marine and they seem pretty good on electronics and have a forum and help line.

Welcome to the C-Brats neighbor. You started a really useful thread here. Glad you asked. Can't add any new web sites, but will certainly save the responses you generated here. (Isn't this a great place?) By the way, There is getting to ge a fair concentration of C-dories in our neighborhood. Sure hope to meet and cross wakes soon,

Helpful Thread. Here's a couple of additions:

Genuinedealz.com marine wire and cable, ANCOR, I've bought from them at less than 50% of West marine prices. (866) 970-3325

Terminaltown.com Electrical terminals, circuitbreakers, etc. Again, I've used them and been very satisfied.

Here's the genuinedealz website, but I can't find an ANCOR website. Plenty of other companies selling ANCOR products, though.

Warren,

I should have been clearer. Genuinedealz sells ANCOR products at a quite good price.
