Hi Brats,
We spent a week on Lake Shasta on a houseboat and there were zero as in no posts on the the lake of any kind. Lots of the info I see here on the C-Brat site would be a great post over on Active Captain site, especially current knowledge, anchorage ideas, good spots to camp, best ramp/gas spots. We rented a 15' boat with a 15hp 4 stroke motor ($217 for a whole week - what a deal) and used the better part of a 5 gallon tank of gas everyday[/b]. Wished I had kept a log book of best ramps, nicest marinas, cheapest gas and better coves to anchor in as well as thoughts on how the lake changes with the drop in water level. Hope some of you on the Lake Powell line of post will put some of your info on the Active Captain site. If get a chance, I just did a post on Bridge Bay Marina where Hwy 5 crosses the Pit River. Thanks for the first photos, looking for more!
Bob and Kyung Jarrard (still looking at boats to buy)
