Motors Lifting Ring

For those of you with Suzuki outboards can anyone tell me where the motors lifting ring is supposed to be attached.i have a 1999 Suzuki DF70TLX model. I have the owners manual along with the service manual. In the owners manual it shows the lifting ring on the Starboard side of the motor...near the top and to the rear of the motor. I think this is just a storage place for the lifting ring untill needed.There should be a attachment screw-hole someplace on top and in the centre of the motor to attach the ring. Thanks Tug
 
I'm not sure about the 70, but for a lot of motors, there is no lifting ring included. We have rings in stock for various sizes, and the screw directly to the flywheel after the cover is removed. Once the motor is installed, the ring is removed and put back on our pegboard for the next motor.
