Need help locating lower unit for 90 HP Honda

I trashed the lower unit of my 1997 90 HP Honda 20" shaft. The lower unit was built by Mercury in that year and for several years after..
The Honda mech. I took it to can not find a new lower unit to get it back in the water for our silver salmon run.
The later 90 HP Hondas have a Honda built lower unit that fits the older motors also.
Any help in locating either a Mercury or Honda lower unit would be appreciated.

My personal crises is over. My mechanic located a new Honda lower unit and it's is on it's way north.
It is a crises because it is silver salmon time and my boat is on the trailer inoperable. :lol:

That's great news. I couldn't offer you any advice, but I was sure feeling for you. Won't be long now, huh?

Be sure and let us know if the new bottom half is a lucky fisher.
 
Mike,

I picked up my boat and took it directly to the water. Might as well drag a herring while checking out the new lower unit. Bingo.......2 silvers. A bonus for us on a checkout ride.
