Greetings! Les just e-mailed yesterday that our new 22'Angler is almost ready. Needless to say I am very excited. As wonderful as this site is (kept me going while boatless) nothing can slake a C-Brat's boating thirst like time on the water! Here are the particulars: 2007 22Angler; bulkhead/glass door, and grey hull. Twin Honda 40's. Standard Horizon Quest VHF, mounted on electronics shelf. Garmin GPSMAP 540s FF/Chartplotter combo mounted on dash top. Scotty #1106 downriggers with swivel bases. Ritchie Explorer surface mount compass. Radar is not in the current budget and will not fit under our storage area anyway. I have the following planned as future projects: Install Permatrims on engines. Install small folding seat between back of helm seat and interior bulkhead wall. Extend port seating area forward to create (tight) bench seating for 3 when necessary. (yes, the goal is inside seating for 5 when necessary!). Install Dri-Dek sectional covering for cockpit and cabin floor in charcoal gray color. Install self-fabricated removable bilge pump guard, design TBD. Install small padeyes (port and starboard) for clipping of side fenders just below both side sliding windows. Install large cleat to starboard side bulkhead exterior below window for securing mooring line clip, fenders when not in use, and general line management. Install rod holder rack to rear starboard bulkhead for boat hook, fishing rods, etc. Install (via vendor) slant back cockpit canvas. Install (via vendor) epoxy barrier coat and trailerable bottom paint. Install (maybe) custom fabricated SS hull guard to protect from anchor chipping. That's all I can think of right now, but I'm counting on you all, either directly or indirectly, for input. This purchase blows my boat budget for the forseeable future, so wish me luck with the new Dory. I hope to attend the first W. Washington gathering after we get her. By the way, the tentative new name is "Beachcomber". Cheers! Mike.

 Westward Ho, Way to go. Stay active on this site. Tell us all about it.

Mike --

Congrats on your Beachcomber -- we'll be looking for you on the water. We're up in the San Juans and trust we'll see you out up here before long. Bon Voyage!

Mike,

Thanks for posting the info about that new model. I am anxious to see the photos of that unique setup.

Congrats!

John

Mike,

Congratulations on the new boat! Where is your photo album? :wink Les will take good care of you.

Greetings! Thanks for the kind comments. My wife (AKA the first mate) is an excellent photographer, so you can definitely expect a nice photo album from us when we get the boat. I'm going to cut out early tomorrow to sneak up to EQ and take a look. I'm not sure who is more excited, our kids or myself. With any luck at all we'll have her on Rosario Strait and in Lopez Sound the weekend of July 7. Regards, Mike.

Mike, congratulations on the new boat! So I guess, we'll be seeing you in Bellingham? :wink

I am hoping to make the Bellingham gathering, at least for part of a day. I'm anxious to meet the other C-Brat members and take a look at some boats. Sounds to me like I may need to raft up? Look forward to it! Mike.
