New Depression treatment for the PNW

Today after a fantastic weekend with the CBrats at Jarrell cove I was a little tired. It was after lunch and the clinic and my office were very warm. I was seeing one new patient for depression and remember trying to work out how to get her off of too many medications - at the same time I was struggling to survive the heat - I was losing focus fast when

I said something like:

"Don't worry if you get more depressed we will just switch you to a CDory - er I mean Seroquel."

Now a CDory is a well known for depression prevention in the PNW - but it is not an FDA approved treatment - for depression. The explanation temporarily relieved the patient's depression.

But, if you are willing to write a prescription for a C-Dory, I think you will get a WHOLE BUNCH of new patients! :mrgreen:

Our non-Brat friends think the C-Dory is the addiction... we know it's the cure! :wink

What is the correct dosage? If taking one is good, is taking two better? Is it covered by medical insurance? What a concept, I know it works for me too! Along with a nice sunny day once in a while, like last Sunday!

Pat, I believe the correct dosage is dependent upon the degree of depression. That being said, those that have a 16' C-Dory are suffering from less depression than those of us that have a 22' C-Dory. Apparently, when I had a 16', it was determined that I needed a larger dose so I increased to a 22'.
In yours and Patty's case, I'm unsure what is happening....you started with a 22', increased to a 25', then added a 16' on top of that. Is it that the 25' plus the 16' is for you.....or......is the 25' for you and the 16' for Patty as she is less depressed?............gee, I'm confused.... :disgust
 
Even if not covered by insurance, this should be a 'justifiable' medical expense with respect to the IRS, shouldn't it? Should we set up a poll? (Or we could ask Wesley Snipes . . . ?)

I can just see the TV commercials now complete with the fine print at the end.......
side effects may include listlesness, excessive internet use, reduction in bank accounts, excessive grinning. Some patients have experienced an increased urge to skip work. Ask your doctor if C-Dory is right for you

Unfortunately it isn't covered by Medicare. :sad
