NEW HATS FOR BRATS ??

Hello Brats,   I was looking for some C-Brat Hats but found there was nothing available at this time.  So  ---   I took some pictures and drawings to our local embroidery shop.  The owner said that he had some ideas and this is what he came up with.  The hats with front logo and back flags will be about $15 Cdn.  Boat name on back is another $2.50 Cdn bringing them in around $17.50 Cdn.  Embroidery colors can be customized and other hat colors and styles are available.   Taxes and shipping costs are to be determined later.I would like your input on this new idea and I certainly hope that I have not broken any C-Brats Club rules and regulations.  It is not my intention to overshadow any previous or ongoing accessories and logos. Talk to me.   Thanks,    DAVE

Thank you for coming up with a c dory hat I think it is perfect I don't know if you are stepping on anybody toes or not, but I'll buy a couple. We have not bought our c dory yet summer of 09 thats the plan but why not get the hat first. Thanks for the info C Dory wanttabee brat!!!!
 
HI BRATS,  If you'd like a hat, the owner of the embroidery shop is going to the SBS.  He will be leaving here (Nanaimo) on Thursday .  If somebody will meet him at his hotel he will bring any hats ordered.  I need to know by Monday to get the order ready to go.  Keep in touch.We will try to post a sample page of hat colors available.  Please bear with us as we fumble through the first rush order. Dave 
 
So with the "new" dollar value does that mean we can buy the $15.00 Cdn. hat for $12.00 US. A'boot time we got a got deal down here.

I've got a big head (no comments, please! :mrgreen: ) and I would like an opportunity to try one of these hats on before committing to purchase. There are only a few hat styles out there that I find comfortable...
 
I got a big head too but with little or no hair, I need hats to keep me warm whatever they feel like! A baseball cap is a pretty standard thing.

David - you might want to check this out - at the moment, we are on the light end of the stick, it will cost you $1.03 US to buy a Canadian dollar today!

Hi Brats, Thanks for the response on the hats !! Awesome ......

I have made arrangements with my good friends Del and Trudy (C-U) to have the hats available for pick-up at the potluck on Friday and the factory dinner on Saturday.
Cost for basic hat ( See green hat ) $17.
Cost for full dress hat ( See grey hat ) $20.
These were the best prices I could come up with at this time. The after boat show hats will have to have a shipping price tagged on, of course.
Cash or Cheque ( made out to Dave Foster ) would be great. I will be paying for this order up front. We accept US $ at par. This will make things much easier for this first order.

For those of you with the "bigger noodles" the hats are adjustable and would probably fit a larger size. I will send a few extra of the basic hats in the boat show order for you big guys to try on. These will be for sale as well.

Please state color of boat trim when ordering hats.

Sorry Pat, but I think you read the converter wrong..... $1 US = $!.03 Cdn which means that the Canadian dollar is LESS than the American Dollar (Still/Again)....... so your getting a 3% discount today !!! Day by day it goes back and forth but the dollars are pretty close to the same anyway you cut it.
 
two questions? one can I get a 22 cdory on the hat . it looks like a 16 or 19 on the hat. second, and dont take this the wrong way, but can I have a U.S.M.C. flag instead of the canadian flag? I was in the corps for 8years and my son just got out of boot camp so you can see why I would like it. if not could I get the digitized image of the c-dory? I have a freind in the business that could do the work for me but she does not have a good file of the c-dory.
 
I sure like the hats, but I don't ever wear one. That doesn't mean I wouldn't buy some for family. I'm with Tom, and would like to know if there is any chance of getting one with a 22 Cruiser pattern. I agree that these look like the 16 - 19's and that's OK. I like the C-Brat logo on it with the Canadian & USA flags since I grew up North of the border. And I like being able to get the boat name on it too.

Also, was there a deadline for ordering to be able to pick up at the SBS Friday or Sat night? Can I still order on Sunday 1/20? Thanks, Dave, nice work. :thup :thup

Good Morning Brats,

The reponse on the hats has been very good.
To date we have 25 hats ordered for the SBS.

To answer some questions ------- No unfortunately, I am unable to attend the SBS.
Yes, it is a 16 Angler ------ Cute-C was the poster girl.
Yes, we are looking into artwork for a 22 Cruiser as well.
The supplier and I thought it would be best to go with the 16 for now just to get some hats out for you to see.
Please bear with me until after the boat show. I will need your input before we proceed with the 22 Cruiser hat. I will have to figure out ordering, payment, shipping, etc.
My goal is to get the best product for the best price for all the C-Brats.
