Actually, Brent, thanks for the link. I think everyone should spend a few minutes just contemplating pictures like these every once in a while. Do your best to comprehend the distances involved and the technology required in getting these pictures. It's helpful, as the site points out, to imagine trying to look at a soccer ball from 40 miles away. But you have to remember, that soccer ball is resting on your eyelashes compared to the stars we all take for granted in the night sky . . .
