New Photo Album Feedback

Weston,
Go to the header at the top of the page. Then click on "Our C-Dorys", then choose to sort the vessels by "year" in the ascending order. The vessel list will then appear beginning with the oldest vessels. Then click on the "users name" and their profile will appear. If they have a photo album it will be shown in their profile (in blue) so you can click on it. You should then be viewing their photos.
Hope this helps.
Dave S.

Weston, in rereading your post, it sounds as if you've already done what I suggested, so maybe this wasn't a help for you.

Dave -

Yeah, I can do it that way but if a guy wanted to find all of the albums available for the 80's style boats (There are a lot of users with them but not all with photos) then it is a time consuming process.

Any points about me being lazy will be well taken. Possibly it wouldn't be a big change to have the presence of pics be one of the columns in the initial search return. Or possibly I need to quit whining and look at everyone's boat instead of just the 80's boats.

Oops. Sorry. You're up to page 11 now.

Album Rename??? How do you do it. Does not work for me.

If you click Rename, it will change the filename the sub-album is saved under (you will see the change in the browser's address bar). To change the displayed name of the sub-album, click Edit Title in the drop down list.

If you change your boat name and want to rename the main album, you need to ask me or Bill to do that. But, as Jim found out, it may takes a while! :embarrased

I have been trying to get a album so I can post pictures of my boat.
Ether I have not been granted a album yet or I do not know how to access it.

I am a MAC user, OS X Mountain Lion 10.8.2, and am on Safari browser 6.0.2. I can add a new nested album, and even add photos, but can't do any other "album actions." When I click on the nested photo album, none of the "photo actions" work either. I user Ghostery, but have disabled blocking for the C-Brats website. Other pertinent information include: I've enabled plug-ins, JavaScript but not Java.

Thanks!

Rich, it has been a couple of years since I posted pix here but IIRC I had to do all my photo album activities with Firefox and not Safari.

I guess it depends on version or something (?), because I use Safari most of the time I'm on this forum, including making photo album entries and edits.

I'm running Snow Leopard (10.6.4) and Safari 5.0.2

Warren, Sunbeam:

Everything was working fine a few months ago, and then last month, I converted from pre-Snow Leopard to the most current MAC OS X Mountain Lion. After three decades working in IT, you would think I would know better then to go onto the bleeding edge of new software. I'll look into Firefox or some other alternative. One thing I'll never go back to is the Windows evironment! Thanks for your feedback.

So for you MAC users out there, if you convert to OS X Mountain Lion 10.8.2 and/or Safari 6.0.2 you're going to have major issues with photo albums!
