The new EZ Loader model you purchased is the exact same trailer I have under "Clover", a C-Dory 22' cruiser. I pulled it from the west coast to Great Lakes without incident. And with the torsion suspension the depth of water necessary to launch can be much less than a "sprung" model requires. Hope you will be able to pull your 22' Angler down to Guttenberg, Iowa to attend the C-Brat gathering on 8 - 10 September this year.

The dealer called me to tell me that the trailer will be here in about 3 weeks, he also told me that he added a one foot tongue extension to the trailer and a bow/keel roller. He ordered these without asking me first but i agree with him completely, at least he realized that a bow/keel roller is required.

Without a "vertical bow stanchion chock" the boat might someday end up on the rooftop of your tow vehicle! This would not be good and is the reason your "dealer" included it! There will not be a need for "keel rollers" as the boat will launch and retrieve very easy from this trailer. You should purchase "tie down" straps for the stern. Get the kind that "ratchet" and allow you to apply enough tension to keep the stern secure. The extra length tongue extension will provide room to mount a spare tire. It will also make backing a bit easier. It might however limit storing the rig in a garage unless its thirty feet deep. My trailer has "two" bunks that appear to be made of 2 X 8 lumber. They are very well supported and take the weight of boat with supplies on-board without a problem. Hope to see you at Guttenberg, Iowa in September!

I have a question about the new trailer i ordered,2012 EZ-Loader Bunk Series TEZ 17-20/22 4000 # that should be here on the week of August 15th. I was looking at the Trailer Specs and am not sure what this means:
Overall Lenght : 22' 3" / + 1' 3"....so is the trailer lenght 23' 6" and if so why is it expressed this way.

I'm not certain what the dimensions you mentioned are about? But looking at my trailer at lunch today, I can say without a doubt it is quite a bit longer than 23 feet overall. The metal portion of the bunk supports are just about flush with the vertical face of transom, and the bow is at least 5 feet aft of the ball hitch. I would venture a guess the trailer "overall" length (ball to aft end of bunks) is close to 27 feet. I'd venture another guess and say the dimensions you have mentioned are the "limits" of hull length that model trailer will accept. If you have a concern why give the factory at Woodinville or Spokane, Washington a phone call and find out for certain.

Answer: the trailers total overall length is 22' 3"...the 1' 3" is an optional slightly longer tongue available for it, if the boat is a little to long.
The optional 1 foot tongue extension that i ordered is actually 1' 3" and that should work out good for me.
