A radar arch is now available, too. Price unknown. I didn't ask because radar is not on my list.

Nick, just a thought......even though radar is not on your list, remember all the other things that can be mounted on a radar arch....ie: GPS antenna, VHF antenna, etc. etc. By having a radar arch, you always have a place to mount new "toys" without having to drill more holes in the roof. The arch also allows you to store a dinghy on the roof in the future without worrying about the dinghy hitting your GPS antenna, VHF antenna etc. etc. :wink

Look at the Raymarine 435 GPS Plotter rather than the Garmin units. The 435 uses Navionics charts on Compact Flash (CF) cards. Two of these cards cover all of the Great Lakes and one covers the part near us.

In addition the Navionics CFs are the only charts I can find which cover the Ohio River.

The 435i doesn't even need an external antenna.
