Osprey's greatest adventure yet: from Lake Superior to the Bon Secour river on the Alabama gulf coast.
We made it down last Wednesday after a long heavily laden road trip. The truck, trailer, and crew all made it in fine fashion.
Virtually everywhere we stopped folks found it necessary to approach and say "Nice Boat" or "Beautiful Boat"! Since arriving the boat has made us at least a dozen friends who all approach initially with one of the same lines.
There is another C-dory (22' Angler) right across the river from us. The boat was purchased from Marc@Wefings several years ago. It's owner is not a Brat but he is a sweet guy.....he has offered us a stall with a lift in his boat barn!! Gotta love it. I guess he wanted two of em in there.
This will be a wonderful place to winter. The water stays soft and wet here!
We are looking forward to our first Brat gathering later this month.
We'll be out fishing soon, keeping those ocean water levels down.
