Our Boat Sold

Just wanted to share that our 22' Cruiser recently sold. While it is sad to give up the boat, we enjoyed owning it for 7 years. We had our boat transported from Rochester NY, to Wefings Marine. Marc Grove did a nice job of posting and promoting our boat, and securing a very fair price for us. I know many folks on this site know Marc, but for those that don't I would highly recommend him if the time comes that you need help in selling your boat. Feel free to PM me if you want more details regarding my experience on the sale.

Special thanks to Dr. Bob and Steve Baum who have generously shared their expertise with me on the many repairs and upgrades we've made over the 7 years we owned our boat. I intend to continue to visit this great website, and offer for any of you that intend to travel the Erie Canal thru our area our hospitality.

No plans to buy another boat at this point. Our 22' Cruiser was plenty of boat for us. I had mentioned back when I first put the boat up for sale, that our tow vehicle was totaled in a car accident, and we decided not to replace it. We were not using the boat as often as we'd planned (for a few reasons), so for us it made sense to sell it. Do people ever get 'out of boating'?? Hopefully we'll still find ways to spend time on the water, we'll just do it other ways. Hopefully our boat will get plenty of use with it's new owner.

Cool. That's a good point. There's many ways to enjoy the water!
