Today we got Constant Craving out on the Willamette between Oregon City and Newberg, and I heartily agree with everyone regarding Permatrim. Much better control of the nose of the boat, and it tracks better at low speed.
For grins, i opened it up with the engine trimmed down, and the boat wanted to lean heavily on the right side. I am not sure if that is prop torque, or just that most of the weight of my boat is on the right, but it was not comfortable. So lesson learned, don't go WOT with the engine trimmed down.
It was a great fall cruise.
