Hi guys,

I've decided to sell my 25...(I can hear the laughs from the PNW all the way on the east Coast!).

Im moving up to a downeast in the 30' range. Im also looking at expresses , tugs and some others.

Regardless of what I end up with I'm still gonna be a Brat, you guys are stuck with me. And if NMI ever gets their business on track and comes up with a bigger, beamier boat then Ill buy hull #1.

1) Of course you're still a Brat.
2) NMI does have a bigger, beamier hull, in the SeaSport line. The Pacific 3200 catamaranis my dream boat - it's just too far above my price range to be realistic. They are beautiful boats inside and out.

I thought the stripe on the SeaSport looked familiar!

Um, does that mean you'll take hull # whatever is next on the Pacific 3200? LOL.

I wish I had your kind of money! you've gone from a 16 to over 20 footer in record time. I'm just saving up for one C 22 and I'll be happy.

Good for you!

Hey Jason,

If you are looking for bigger, beamier, more boat, and want to stay a Brat, you might want to try a TomCat 255. Just in case.

Howeverm you are Brat enough for me any day. Stick around. There aren't many ways to get out of here, and I don't think you are close to either of them.

Best in your adventure.

Given that the nerd behind the curtain of both the C-Brats and TugNuts has a Nordic Tug...chances are pretty good we won't boot you.

That'll work. I got the seal of approval from the head nerd!

Jason, it took me less than 4 years to reach the same conclusion about "moving
up' to a bigger boat from my 26 Venture.

What I learned, again: it's best to choose a craft in which to spend time and money
based on how and where you want to use it.

Although it can be done (and is), the 26 Venture was not the best choice for me on
the Lake of a Thousand Moods (Lk Michigan), my home port/primary area.

As far of being unwelcome to post here once you no longer own a C Dory, I don't
believe this group is that mean spirited not to welcome your input or questions.

Aye.
Grandma used to say, "We are the result of our choices."

Nope, the people on this site are definitely not mean-spirited. Especially when the only rule is "Just be nice".

You'll always be welcome on this site Jason. As Roger, former owner of Dreamer says, "once a C-Brat, always a C-Brat."

The problem with "Just be nice" is no one has defined the word "nice".

My online dictionary says "nice" originally had a number of meanings. And the
overuse of "nice" to mean 'pleasant, agreeable, satisfactory' has rendered the
word rather trite (Ex: He's a nice man. I had a nice time. You have a nice boat.).
I don't like trite.

I do like witty humor, being frank, direct, brief, honest and polite.

I also like Nice, the resort city on the French Riviera.

Aye.
