Powerboat Reports?

Anyone know what happened to Powerboat Reports? I got a card
in the mail saying that I'm getting Boating instead (twice as many
issues of Boating as I had left on my PBR). Nothing on the
Powerboat Reports website yet...

It seems that Powerboat Reports sold out to Boating Magazine. :thdown :thdown

They also 'sold out' their subscribers by selling Boating magazine their subscription list. :amgry
 
After looking over the PBR website for a bit, I doubt they sold out per se. Probably went bankrupt and did the best they could for those that they owe money to - namely us subscribers.

There are some clues on the website...certain pages do not work, etc.
But, they were planning on having a next issue, apparently.

When I have more time or perhaps someone else will, we should be
able to find any filings related.

Practical Sailor and Power Boat reports are joined at the hip. They are basically the same magazine, but with different slants. I suspect that the power boat crowd was not as supportive--but we will see if the sailing part survives. I subscribed on and off, but didn't think they were worth the money.
