This is a silly little project to keep the anchor rode from sitting in a puddle of water all the time.
I epoxied some cleats near the bottom of the locker, above the drain hold. I took this time to open up the hole to be about 50% larger, made sure there was no barrier for water not to drain, and COMPLETELY sealed off the edges of everything.

Here is the shelf that sits on the cleats. It has lots of holes for drainage. It was thoroughly coated with epoxy before painting. The bitter end of the rode is tied off underneath.
