I am looking for a Prop Guard/Saver for my Yamaha T-8 High Thrust model, (8 hp four stroke trolling motor).
According to Mac's Prop Saver, I would need the one with a 12" diameter. Yes, I could purchase a new one for around $140.
You know being a C-Brat, we generally like to get a good deal, so I'm looking for a used one or one that is sitting in a garage or shop needing a good home. I've called the local boat dealers with shops and no one seems to keep them or have used ones.
Maybe someone can let me know how to build one. I seem to recall a discussion on that topic, but can't find the thread.
